It also shows your BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate) — which means the number of calories your body burns when you’re just resting. This includes things like breathing, blood flow, and keeping your body running.

How to Use the Calculator

  • Enter Your Age: Type in your age. Your age helps the calculator figure out how fast your body burns calories.
  • Choose Your Gender: Use the dropdown to pick your gender. This is important to get the most accurate result.
  • Put in Your Height: You can enter your height in either:
    Feet and inches, or
    Centimeters
    (You only need to choose one option — whichever is easier for you!)
  • Enter Your Weight: Type in your weight and select the unit:
    Pounds (lb), or
    Kilograms (kg)
  • Tap Calculate: Once everything is filled in, press the “Calculate” button. The tool will show you how many calories your body burns at rest — this is called your BMR.
  • See Your Results: Your BMR will appear below. It shows the number of calories your body needs to work properly without exercise.
  • Need to Make a Change? Press the “Revise” button to change any detail and calculate again.
